## 0. One-line

> **The 1.73 MK balance belongs to the printed closed-loop inputs \(I\approx 2\times 10^{12}\,\mathrm{A}\) and \(V\approx 10\,\mathrm{kV}\). The open hole at \(B_0=10\,\mathrm{G}\) and \(n_p=10^{7}\,\mathrm{cm^{-3}}\) is a different region: a factor-of-ten adiabat lands at \(0.323\,\mathrm{MK}\), \(v_A=6897\,\mathrm{km\,s^{-1}}\), and an isothermal Parker wind at \(0.8\,\mathrm{MK}\) is \(419\,\mathrm{km\,s^{-1}}\) at \(1\,\mathrm{AU}\).**

---

## 1. Closed loop

The package equates \(P=IV=2.0\times 10^{16}\,\mathrm{W}\) to a Spitzer conductive loss and prints

\[
T=\left(\frac{P\,L_{\mathrm{loop}}}{\kappa_0 A_{\mathrm{channel}}}\right)^{2/7}=1.73\,\mathrm{MK}.
\]

That temperature stays [M]. It is tied to those inputs. The \(10\,\mathrm{G}\) canopy mean is not an input of this package, and this package does not retune it.

## 2. Open hole

Holes and closed bright structures are different objects (`PASS_FT_CH_VS_SUNSPOT_DISTINCT_OBJECTS`).

At \(\gamma=5/3\), a factor-of-ten density drop takes \(1.5\,\mathrm{MK}\) to \(0.323\,\mathrm{MK}\). The band \(0.8\)–\(1.0\,\mathrm{MK}\) is a density ratio \(0.39\)–\(0.54\).

\(\hat{\mathbf{b}}\cdot(\mathbf{j}\times\mathbf{B})=0\) along a field line. \(B\propto r^{-s}\) gives \(A\propto r^{s}\), with no throat for \(s>0\).

At the printed base, \(v_A=B_0/\sqrt{\mu_0\rho_0}=6897\,\mathrm{km\,s^{-1}}\). Helium at the banked fast-stream ratio lowers that speed and leaves it thousands of kilometres per second. An isothermal Parker wind at \(0.8\,\mathrm{MK}\) is \(419\,\mathrm{km\,s^{-1}}\) at \(1\,\mathrm{AU}\).

The public sentence for the hole is the banked channel: footpoint shake, ion-circle handoff, outward mirror. Electrons stay near \(0.8\,\mathrm{MK}\). The \(1\,\mathrm{km\,s^{-1}}\) driver stays. The \(10\,\mathrm{G}\) mean stays.

## 3. What stays free

The particle halo is retired as inventory (§0bn1190). This page's current is not that retirement. Gate 5 stays unpaid: this split is not a jet and not a throat theorem. Interior fusion stays held. The wind bank stays `PASS_FT_CH_CURRENT_FIRST`. No chip. No promote. The live line stays §0bn1188.
