0. One-line

That is the fork the mills have already drawn. If gravity is a 3-surface floating in empty leftover \(B^4\), standard minimal-surface elasticity is the wrong end: \(\delta(\mathrm{Area})\) is the graph operator \(\mu=1/\sqrt{1+x^2}=\cos\theta\) (vertical), Newton in the IR and a neck in the UV. The 3D lock wants \(\mu\sim\sin\theta\) ends (simple AQUAL). Forcing \(\sin\theta\) by a non-standard membrane action is a shop unless derived; constrained/non-local membrane is the prize in embedding clothes, not exhibited. The live reading is the other tine: the 4-metric is the elastic medium (Book G Hencky is its UV). Leftover \(S^3(R)\) is not an empty tank the sheet falls into. It supplies the background curvature \(K_{ij}=g_{ij}/R\), and the yield is \(r_{\mathrm{loc}}=c^2/g\sim R\), i.e. \(a_0=c^2/R\) as kind. That constitutive map is not exhibited. Do not retry area EL. Do not write \(\mathcal{L}(g,K)\). Prize OPEN.

1. Tine A — literal membrane in empty \(B^4\)

Classroom rubber sheet: a 2-surface hanging in ambient 3-space, already cheating with 3-gravity. Leftover analogue: 3-surface in empty \(B^4\).

| Object | Status | |--------|--------| | \(\delta(\mathrm{Area})\) / CMC / Nambu–Goto | \(\cos\theta\) interpolator; FIRE (FT-BEND, FT-LOCK-KEY) | | Willmore, Hencky-as-embedding, \(\mathrm{Vol}_4\) | closed as RAR actions | | Invent a membrane \(W\) whose EL is \(\sin\theta\) | shop unless derived from leftover without a \(\mu\) | | Constrained / non-local embedding EL | remainder condition (FT-EXT-PROJ), not exhibited |

Finding F1 [E algebra]. Empty-\(B^4\) membrane with the standard area energy cannot be the RAR. That tine is closed as a named mechanics. It is not closed as “no 3-surface exists”; leftover \(S^3\subset B^4\) can still be the container. What is closed is using its area as the stress.

2. Tine B — constitutive metric medium (the isolated slot)

The 4-geometry is the elastic medium. Photons and stars share it (KiDS extra \(\Phi\)). UV: Hencky / Book G, Newton+1PN, \(c_{\mathrm{gw}}=c\). IR: not Taylor at vanishing well strain. The container’s job is the one leftover scale:

\[ K_{ij}=\frac{g_{ij}}{R},\qquad r_{\mathrm{loc}}=\frac{c^2}{g}=R \;\Longleftrightarrow\; g=\frac{c^2}{R}\sim a_0. \]

Inverted yield: soft when the well is shallower than leftover \(K\), stiff (Newton) when it is a small dimple (FT-YIELD-GEOM). Isolated reduction: universal \(y=g_N/a_0\mapsto g_{\mathrm{obs}}\).

That is FT-METRIC-ELAS / FT-PRIZE-PIN. The tensor is not written. \(\sqrt{6}\) still [M]. \(a_{\mathrm{ext}}\) not eliminated. Interpolator family unpaid. P5 stands.

4. One-line for agents

§FT-SHEET-VS-MEDIUM: do not treat leftover as a rubber sheet in empty \(B^4\) (\(\delta\mathrm{Area}=\cos\theta\), wrong end); live slot is constitutive 4-metric elasticity with leftover \(K=1/R\) as yield \(a_0=c^2/R\); tensor not exhibited; prize OPEN; no promote.
