0. One-line
A “quark” is not a CPT primitive: it is an SM-equivalent name for a lobe / multipole interaction channel of a geometric seat. The residual is not “where do \((c,b,t)\) live in \(G_2\)?” — it is which native seats, lobe patterns, and mass scales reproduce the phenomenology SM books as heavy flavour.
1. Why the old gap wording is wrong
Old inventory wording (demoted)
Heavy quark generation packaging \((c,b,t)\) under \(G_2\to SU(3)\).
Hidden SM assumptions
| Assumption | CPT status | |------------|------------| | Six fundamental quark flavours | SM dictionary, not native | | Generations = copies of the same free objects | Not forced by G₂ 3 ⊕ 3̄ | | \(\mathrm{Im}(\mathbb{O})\) must store \(c,b,t\) | [CLOSED F] as 7→6 / six-quark map | | CKM first | Transitions before multiplet membership — wrong order |
Public doctrine: the programme targets SM-equivalent phenomenology under one force + matter rules — not a multi-field SM TOE certificate. Octonion arc standing order: “quark evidence” statements ring alarm bells.
2. Native objects vs SM export labels
| Native (primary) | Role | SM-equivalent (optional export) | |------------------|------|----------------------------------| | Knot seat \(T(p,q)\) | Topological multiplet package | hadron / lepton class | | Lobe / interaction points | \(p\)-fold multipole structure (e.g. free \(n\): three lobes) | “quark-like” charge lumps in composites | | Isospin / Y geometry | Physical rotation vs physical→extra (preferred G₂) | light \(u,d,s\) labels on the 3 | | Lattice / multiplet ID | Which states exist (FL-O1 wall) | strange / heavy hadron census | | Generation / mass scale | S⁷ Foot, Route E, binding | “heavier generation” energies |
Working definition:``text quark ≔ SM dialect for a lobe (or lobe-channel) of a bound multipole seat — not a free fundamental on an octonion basis vector e_i `
, free-\(n\) multipole programme).
3. Residual rewrite: FL-HEAVY
Demote as primary gap
| Old ID | Wording | New status | |--------|---------|------------| | Gap “heavy quark packaging \((c,b,t)\)” | Put charm/bottom/top into G₂ / \(e_i\) | DEMOTED — SM-framed | | FL1c / G₂ D4 | \(e_1\ldots e_7\to(u,d,s,c,b,t)\) | stays [CLOSED F] | | G-E naive \(e_5,e_6,e_7=c,b,t\) | Fiat heavy basis | stays [F as derivation] |
Promote: FL-HEAVY (native)
Heavy multiplet membership and scale — which geometric seats, lobe patterns, and lattice classes (if any) correspond to lab sectors SM calls charm / bottom / top, and how their mass scale is set — without treating \(c,b,t\) as primitive G₂ vectors.

`text
1. Freeze L0 (this note) [E meta]
2. Census native heavy candidates multiplet / lattice / S⁷
(hadron multiplets first, not free c,b,t)
3. Scale from geometry Route E / Foot / binding
4. Export SM dictionary table [M] labels only
5. Mixing only if multiplet transitions [O] last
`
Forbidden order: invent free \(c,b,t\) on \(e_i\) → fit CKM → back-solve multiplet.

| Old option | Re-read under L0 | Tag | |------------|------------------|-----| | G-A light-only GG freeze | Correct: G₂ owns light structure / lobe-isospin slot, not a six-flavour zoo | [E] default for G₂ | | G-B three SU(3) copies | Only as optional multiplet packaging if geometry demands — not “three quark gens” | [M] weak | | G-C S⁷ / Koide / Route E | Scale of heavier seats / generations — good home for L3 | [M] scale track | | G-D lattice → multiplet | L2 membership — same wall as FL-O1, now for heavy sectors | [O] primary residual | | G-E \(e_5{=}c\) etc. | Still [F] | [CLOSED F] |

8. Paper-facing paragraph
In the CPT account, Standard Model quarks are not fundamental fields of the geometric theory. They are equivalent labels for multipole / lobe interaction structure on torus-knot seats. Light flavour geometry supplies an SU(3) 3 ⊕ 3̄ slot (Günaydin–Gürsey / preferred \(G_2\)) that may be read as \(u,d,s\) after isospin–hypercharge packaging; it does not require six free quarks as octonion basis vectors. Residuals that SM language calls heavy flavour are therefore problems of multiplet membership and mass scale of geometric seats — not of embedding \((c,b,t)\) into \(\mathrm{Im}(\mathbb{O})\).
