MatureBubble Nucleation
The universe nucleated as a topological bubble on a pre-existing S³. The BN programme establishes the junction conditions, pair creation rates, and energy partition for the nucleation event.
In the CPT framework, the S³ universe did not begin with a Big Bang singularity. Instead, it nucleated as a topological bubble from a pre-existing vacuum state, analogous to a nucleation event in a first-order phase transition.
The BN Programme
The Bubble Nucleation (BN) programme is structured into four main arcs of investigation:
- BN1: Bulk field equations and junction conditions.
- BN2: (Reserved for future dynamics studies).
- BN3: Hold stability and energy partition.
- BN4: Pair production asymmetry and baryogenesis.
Junction Conditions and Energy Partition
BN1 established the thin-shell junction conditions at the bubble wall. The matching of the interior and exterior geometries is governed by the Israel junction conditions, with the wall energy density determined by Weber field matching.
Israel Junction Conditions
BN3 established the O5 map (outer 5-sphere embedding) which freezes the isolated vs. annihilation energy partition. This dictates that nucleated pairs have a rigorously defined energy budget.
Nucleation Mechanism
Spontaneous nucleation occurs when the vacuum energy density exceeds the pair creation threshold. This manifests topologically as the creation of torus knot pairs, .
