The constitutional axioms of the CPT framework. These cannot be violated by any result or community submission. Everything else is derived from them.
What is an Ontology Freeze?
An ontology freeze represents a set of non-negotiable axioms that define the entire scope and domain of the theory. Once frozen, these principles cannot be altered without discarding the entire framework. They serve as the constitutional foundation upon which all subsequent derivations, including community submissions, must strictly rely.
The Six Axioms
The CPT framework is built on exactly six axioms (OA1-OA6). We present them not as abstract mathematical whims, but as minimal, irreducible physical requirements from which the complexities of particle physics and gravity emerge naturally.
- OA1: S³ Topology: The universe is globally a 3-sphere.
- OA2: Direct Action: Interactions occur directly between entities (Weber-style); fundamental fields do not exist.
- OA3: Geometrical Knots: Particles are extended 1D topological knots on the Clifford torus.
- OA4: Charge as Geometry: Electric charge is fundamentally geometric winding.
- OA5: Absolute Time: There is a universal, absolute time parameter.
- OA6: Double-Copy Gravity: Gravity is strictly emergent as a secondary effect (EM²).
The Frozen Ontology Set
Explicit Exclusions
Because of the strict nature of the freeze, several mainstays of standard modern physics are explicitly ruled out at the fundamental level:
- No fundamental quantum fields: QFT is treated as a highly successful statistical approximation, not an ontological reality.
- No strings, branes, or extra dimensions: Everything must be embedded within the 4D spacetime comprising .
- No dark matter particle species: Anomalous gravitational effects must emerge from knot topology and the geometric properties of the framework.
- No cosmological constant as a free parameter: It must emerge from the intrinsic curvature of the universe.
Emergence of cosmological effects
Community Submissions and Gate G1
Any theoretical extension or community submission must pass Gate G1. This gate rigorously checks the submission against the six frozen axioms. A violation of even one axiom results in automatic rejection.
Historical Context
These axioms were not chosen arbitrarily at the outset; they were progressively frozen as critical derivations succeeded. The framework naturally solidified around them because they consistently yielded correct physics without the need for ad-hoc parameters.
