Deuteron Binding Energy

The live package is the mutual S³ dance on the measured anchor. The formula below is the older Weber package.

Integrity note (Doctrine v1.1.15): The live package is the mutual dance of proton and neutron . The measured anchor is . The bond scale is the defined product , with boundary values and . The quotient is [E algebra] of those values. stays inside the package. The contact length is [E algebra] on the measured inputs. The PREX-II difference is ( of ). The token stays unissued. The formula below is the older Weber package. It is not the S⁷ simplex, and the exact 2.224566 MeV print is not Branch 2. The live A=2, 3, 4 reading is light nuclei. Branch 2, with , stays retired. It is not the live scale. Continuum hold stays OPEN. α stays INPUT. The proton mass theorem stays forbidden.

1. The Deuteron Nuclear System

The deuteron () is the simplest bound nucleus, consisting of one proton and one neutron. Its binding energy is measured to extreme accuracy: .

In standard nuclear physics, is fitted using phenomenological nucleon-nucleon potentials (such as Argonne ) containing up to 18 free parameters. The formula on this page is an older Weber package. It is not the S⁷ simplex, and it is not a free binding theorem.

2. Older Weber potential well

The proton and neutron bind at an equilibrium separation , creating a deep octonionic Weber attraction potential well:

Older Weber package. Not the S⁷ simplex, and not a binding theorem.

The print below is an older Weber package. It is not Branch 2, and it is not a derivation of the deuteron binding. The live simplex is the light-nuclei page.
